Plan of Salvation

Welcome to the Body of Christ

The plan of salvation that God has given us is a simple process that He has outlined in His Word. Acceptance that Jesus Christ died for your sins is as simple as believing in your heart and confessing with your mouth that you accept Him as your personal Lord and Savior.

Once you have accepted Jesus Christ into your life, you have become a child of God and you need to get to know your heavenly Father. God knows all about you, but you need to know Him in an intimate and personal way. One way to do this is through prayer. Prayer is just talking with God. Start with 5 or 10 minutes each day. Make prayer a part of your life; for example, ask God to bless your food.

Another thing you must do to get to know God is to have daily Bible study and meditations. Set aside a specific time each day to read your Bible. Start with the New Testament; read as much as you are personally able to grasp. For some it may be one verse; or it may be one chapter, depending on the person.

Below you will find information and Scriptures to guide you in the process of growing in your new relationship with Jesus Christ.
